Guitar sounds to use with BlueARP Guitar Mode

BlueSteelGuitar and BlueFSSGuitar are lightweight Acoustic Guitar libraries for DecentSampler (free sampler) and Guitar Mode in BlueARP, optimized for use in strumming patterns with chuck strumming articulation.

The main idea is these patches have 2 velocity zones: normal (single string notes) and chucks (short muted picks). BlueARP supports this velocity zone split by ‘chuck mode’ setting, which you need to set to ‘velocity’ and select the velocity range for chuck sound (recommended one is “<= 31”, which means that velocities 0..31 trigger chuck sounds, while velocities 32..127 – normal notes.

They have different character.

BlueSteelGuitar – clean, bright, polished, more suited to sill well in mix.

BlueFSSGuitar – warm, gritty, slightly detuned, organic sound of a worn vintage acoustic guitar.
